Who is responsible for your data?

Scope and legal basis
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit this website or enquire about a project. It applies to all three language versions. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to personal data; section 25 of Germany’s TDDDG also applies to storing or accessing information on your device.
Hosting and server logs
Hostinger provides the hosting. To deliver the site and protect it against misuse, the hosting provider receives connection information, including your IP address, browser and operating system, requested URL, referrer, request time and technical errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website. Logs are retained only as necessary for operation, troubleshooting and security. Relevant records may be kept longer to investigate an incident or pursue legal claims. The actual retention settings and server location depend on the hosting agreement and provider settings.
Email and telephone enquiries
We use the contact and project information you share, including your name, contact details and message, to respond and, where relevant, prepare a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, and Article 6(1)(f) for other correspondence. Email and telecommunications providers receive the information needed to deliver your message. Contacting us is voluntary; we may be unable to respond without the necessary details. Completed enquiries are deleted when no longer needed, unless legal retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require otherwise.
The project form and WhatsApp
Your name, email, company and message stay only in the open page’s memory until submission. Service, goal and budget may be saved locally only after separate consent, as described below. Direct submission sends your contact and project details over HTTPS to our website server, which forwards the enquiry to info@ahmedalqumairi.de through the configured email provider. Confirmation appears only after the mail server accepts the enquiry. We do not maintain a separate form database. To limit misuse, a one-way hash of your email address and a request counter are held in server memory for up to 15 minutes, solely for security. Reloading clears unsent contact details and messages. Please do not enter passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. Continuing in WhatsApp passes your entries to WhatsApp in a link. Opening that link already shares the draft and connection information with the external service; the message is only sent when you send it in WhatsApp. You can contact us separately by email or telephone.
WhatsApp and international processing
WhatsApp is an external service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited. Its privacy notice governs its further use of your information, including possible processing outside the EU. Where service providers process personal data outside the EEA, the requirements of Articles 44 onwards of the GDPR apply, depending on the recipient, including an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. This website does not load WhatsApp in the background. Using it to contact us is optional.
Fonts, images and external links
Fonts, client logos and project images are served by this website. Google Fonts, Google reviews and client websites are not embedded as external content. Following an external link shares connection information, including your IP address, with that provider. Their own privacy notice applies to their service.
Privacy choices and device storage
This site currently uses no analytics or marketing services. Confirming your choices does not activate any. Choosing Essential only leaves all content available. Your decision and timestamp are stored locally under aq-privacy-v4 for 180 days and are not sent to a server. You can change your decision through Privacy settings in the footer.
Optional functional preferences
Remember project selections is off by default. If you consent, this website stores only your service, goal, budget and a timestamp locally under aq-project-options-v1. Your name, email, company and message are never saved in persistent browser storage. The selections are valid for 7 days; expired entries are deleted on your next form visit. No stored selection is transmitted to an analytics provider. Form data is transmitted only when you submit an enquiry, as described above. The basis is section 25(1) TDDDG and, where personal data is involved, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Withdraw consent through Privacy settings at any time; Essential only immediately deletes the saved selections. The website and form remain available without consent.
Independent accessibility preferences
Accessibility settings are separate from privacy choices. If you select larger text, high contrast, reduced motion or highlighted links, those preferences are stored only on this device under aq-access-v1 until you reset them. Changing your privacy choice does not alter them. Reset display removes the stored preferences. You can also remove either storage entry through your browser settings. If storage is unavailable, the controls still work during your visit.
Legal basis for local storage
Storing your requested display settings and privacy decision supports the functions you explicitly request, under section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Where personal data is involved, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our interest in reliably respecting your choices. Any future non-essential service would require separate, informed consent before activation under section 25(1) TDDDG and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Security and automated decisions
The site uses HTTPS with TLS encryption. Browser security policies limit external content and access to device functions, although no transmission can be guaranteed completely risk-free. We do not use profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects under Article 22 GDPR.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including on grounds relating to your particular situation under Article 21. You may withdraw consent for future processing without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact the address above to exercise your rights.
Complaints
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) is responsible for private-sector organisations in Bavaria. Last updated: 7 October 2026.
